Collaboration of Students, Teachers and Families: Australia, Japan, Taiwan

Saturday, December 5th, 2009

I’d like to share with all of the NDYS participants a meaningful film. This is the collaboration among Japan, Australia and Taiwan. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6-dTd_ele8

Yoshie visited Australia to comfort the students from bushfire in July, and then she only had one free night at my city. We decided to do something meaninful. We gathered some kids to make a safety map. It’s a collaboration of schools and families. Share with you this great moment.

BLUE PICTURE

We have only one earth
There are many kinds of people
But there are also famine and drought.
If we don’t take care of our world
And if we don’t say even one word
We will lose this wonderful earth.
Isn’t there any hope for the future?
Look at this green and blue picture
Because there may not be a chance
To see it again.
So you must be careful
If you don’t want the world
To be dreadful!
——————————————

DISASTERS
South Asia eartquake
Kills thousands of people
And the beat goes on
As nature continues its act upon
Seems there’s no relief
Even with religious belief.
In the door comes terror
An unnecessary horror
Isn’t natural enough
Why does man have to
Make life more tough?
Man will get it sooner or later
The devil is an evil dictator
By the time man comes to terms
He’ll be destroyed by his own germs
One natural disaster will occur
Then it will be too late
For a total cure.

FOR THE MORE

Come on guys!
Open your eyes!
The world is nice.
Save your world.
Don’t damage your earth
It’s the voice of the world
That you have heard.
——————————————–

Climate is changing
Because of me
The Earth is warning
Because of me.
Forests are burning
So we don’t have many a tree
Rivers are drying
Because of me.
People die because of starving
Because of me
Living areas are exhausting
We are not free.
————————————————

Natural Disaster

It’s time to face natural disaster
Isn’t there any hope for the future?
The sun makes our atmosphere hotter
And the sea level higher.
Another problem is forest fire
Everyday we lose our desire
If we don’t let cigarette ends
We can solve big problems.
———————————————-

SAVE THE WORLD

Earth,wind,water and fire
Seems like we lost our desire
To fight for what we know is right
We lost ourselves for that.
Erosion,storm and flood
It’s time to save our world.
People,let’s get together around a word;
“Save the world!”
“Save the world!”
————————————————————-

THE WORLD IS OURS

When I was a child
There wasn’t landslide.
Hey you! Look at your environment
Unhealthy many people
Rain forests gonna rebel somebody
If you don’t say “Stop!” to anybody.
Open your eyes
The world is ours!
